Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk Explores the Rainforest Canopies. Your adventure begins in the Rainforest Eco Gallery which has a comprehensive array of rainforest fauna and flora information and displays. You depart the Rainforest Eco Gallery and begin on a spectacular elevated walkway through the beautiful middle and upper canopies of the rainforest. The walkway is a stable, high-tech steel structure enabling you to explore these canopies in a safe and secure way. It descends gradually to the lower canopy and follows points of interest including rock pools, butterfly lookout, local history information and sheltered rest areas along the way until reaching the amazing Cantilever. This is a 40 metre long span soaring 30 metres above the valley, with spectacular views over the creek and the rainforest canopies below. Finally the walk returns along the rainforest floor to the Centre.
The Birdwing Cafe serves delicious light refreshments inside or on the deck beside the rainforest, also on offer is an interesting gift and souvenir shop with quality merchandise. There is plenty of off road parking and bus parks.... less

How To Get There
Travelling from Brisbane (approximately 55 minutes)
Heading south on the M1 Freeway take the Beenleigh North Exit (Exit 34). Turn right into Logan Street onto Highway 92 (Beenleigh to Beaudesert Highway). Travel along Highway 92 until Tamborine Village and turn left onto Tamborine Mountain Road (Highway 95). This road will turn into Geissmann Drive stay on this road until you reach the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk (333 Geissmann Drive) on the Left hand side.
Travelling from the Gold Coast (approximately 50 minutes)
Heading north on the M1 Freeway take the Oxenford Exit (Exit 57). Follow the Tamborine Oxenford Road (Highway 95) and on all the way to Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk (333 Geissmann Drive) which is on the right hand side. Please note that Highway 95 the road changes name five times from Tamborine Oxenford Road to Macdonnell Road to Wonga Wallen Road to Long Road to Eagle Heights Road and then into Geissmann Drive.
