Surf Sports plays a key role in improving skills, maintaining fitness, motivation and club involvement with Surf sports carnivals held on Queensland beaches throughout summer.
The Queensland Senior State Championships will be held on the Sunshine Coast in 2013 showcasing some of surf lifesaving's greatest rivalries in Queensland compete in this exciting event. As the pinnacle event on Surf Life Saving Queensland's sporting calendar each year, the Championships will see more than 2000 lifesavers from Port Douglas right through to Rainbow Bay hit the beach to battle the surf, sand and each other in their quest for state glory.
