Description
As one of the largest events of its kind in Australia, the Junior State Championships takes place at Hervey Bay in 2013 attracting junior competitors (U11 to U14 years of age) from all 59 surf life saving clubs throughout Queensland to compete in the Queensland Junior State Championships each and every year.
... moreOver 80 events are contested throughout the championships on the beach and in the water. Typically this event attracts in excess of 1,500 competitors and 3,500 spectators per day to watch Surf Life Saving Queensland's surf sports stars of the future compete. In addition, approximately 250 officials volunteer their time to officiate at the numerous events that make up the competition.
