Spyglass Peak features abundant birdlife, sandstone rock formations, eucalypt woodland and wildflowers. The trail is approximately one kilometre long, with an easy classification and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Be careful when walking near edges, the sandstone crumbles easily. Wear a hat and sunscreen and take plenty of water. If walking along the the four wheel drive track from the campground, beware of vehicles.

How To Get There:
Salvator Rosa lies between Springsure and Tambo. From Springsure, head 114 kilometres west along Tambo Road to the park turnoff. From Tambo, head 42 kilometres north on the Alpha road then turn east towards Springsure and drive 102 kilometres to the Salvator Rosa turnoff.
Alternative Four Wheel Drive access from Tambo is via the Wilderness Way which leaves the Matilda Way eight kilometres south-east of Tambo , travelling via Mount Playfair and the Goodliffe section of Carnarvon National Park. At the turnoff, drive south for 50 kilometres via "Cungelella" to the park boundary and a further four kilometres to the campsite.
Conventional access to the camping area is possible but four-wheel-drive is essential inside the park. The access roads become impassable after rain. The nearest fuel is at Springsure or Tambo.
