Description
The Solar Eclipse Marathon is a unique sporting event taking place in Port Douglas. A full Marathon and Half Marathon will be run in conjunction with a total solar eclipse and the zenith of the eclipse will be the ""starting gun"" for the Marathon.
This one-off event is the opportunity of a lifetime for runners of all abilities to combine their passion for running with one of nature's most awe-inspiring natural phenomenon's.
With accommodation, tours, breakfasts, transfers and most evening meals included this fully hosted holiday is limited to a maximum of 2,000 people and once places are gone so is your opportunity to take part in a running event that will be simply ""out of this world""!

Children are more than welcome to join in the tours but please note that if a competitor under the age of 18 for the Marathon or 15 for the Half Marathon wishes to compete permission must be granted by the event organisers prior to race day.
