How To Get There
Riverlife is housed in Brisbane's heritage listed Naval Stores. Access to Riverlife can be found via Lower River Terrace or River Terrace, Kangaroo Point.
From the city via ferry, catch the Thornton Street ferry from Eagle Street Pier. Turn right when you get off the ferry and follow the Riverlife signs. Riverlife is 300 metres from the Thornton Street Ferry Terminal.
By car (note that there is strictly no parking at Riverlife itself), from the upper terrace, park at the top of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs near the Kangaroo Point Cliffs Cafe, walk down the cliff stairs, turn right and walk 300 metres to Riverlife. From Lower River Terrace, park in the free public car park at the base of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs, then follow the Riverlife signs along the river and cycle path, a distance of 800 metres. From Hamilton Street (off Bright Street) take a short 350 metre walk along the river and cycle path towards the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Direct disabled access to Riverlife is available upon request (via Lower River Terrace, Thornton Street Ferry Terminal or Hamilton Street, Kangaroo Point)
Via taxi, catch it to Thornton Street, walk down to the Thornton Street Ferry Terminal, turn left and follow the Riverlife signs. Riverlife is 300 metres from the Thornton Street Ferry Terminal.
When walking from the city (a nice warm up), walk over the Goodwill Bridge, turn left and follow the river to Riverlife.
If travelling by train, take any train to South Bank Station. Riverlife is a two kilometre walk along the river from the station in the direction of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
To travel by bus, simply take any Brisbane City Council bus to the South Bank Busway Station. Riverlife is a two kilometre walk along the river from the bus station in the direction of the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. You can catch a City Sights Bus to River Terrace, Kangaroo Point and walk down the cliff stairs near the TAFE building, turn right and walk 300 metre to Riverlife.

Meet the local Brisbane Aboriginal Tribe Riverlife Mirrabooka and share in rich Aboriginal culture presented by the Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers in the natural bushland of Kangaroo Point.
Develop an awareness of the diverse aspects of contemporary Aboriginal culture by witnessing and participating in traditional song and dance passed down over many generations including, discovering primitive fire starting techniques, playing of Aboriginal musical instruments (such as didgeridoos, clap sticks), and listening to Indigenous educational talks that offer an insight into Aboriginal life and history.
