Pterodactyl Helicopters - difficult to spell, impossible to forget! Wine Tours by Helicopter because getting there is half the fun! A trip of a lifetime by helicopter over stunning countryside to visit up to six boutique wineries, sample their wines and enjoy a delicious lunch.
There are lots of excellent wineries dotted across greater Ipswich, the Scenic Rim and Somerset Region. Some of the best are hidden away and hard to find. Visiting wineries by car can take hours on busy highways and unsealed back roads. And you won't know until you get there if it was really worth the effort.

They will fly you in comfort from destination to destination while you sit back, relax and enjoy picturesque district views and the beautiful Fassifern Valley. You will get to meet the region's top wine-makers who will introduce you to some of South East Queensland's finest premium wines.
All tours include lunch and a bottle of wine per couple from each winery. Flights depart and return from Woodlands of Marburg, Spicers Hidden Vale or from the Ipswich City Helipad.

The Short Tour takes in Ironbark Ridge Estate, Normanby Wines and Paradine Wines, flying through the spectacular Fassifern Valley. It takes about four hours with lunch at Spicers Hidden Vale or Ironbark Ridge.

You will get to meet the region's top wine-makers who will introduce you to some of South East Queensland's finest premium wines.
The Tour takes in Normanby Wines and Paradine Wines, flying through the spectacular Fassifern Valley. and also includes the hidden delights of Bunjurgen Estate and Kooroomba Vineyards, south of Boonah. It takes about five hours.
