With its stunning scenery and surroundings what could be more enjoyable and memorable than sailing onboard a luxurious yacht around the Whitsunday Islands. An opportunity not to be missed!

The boat is incredibly spacious, five cabin yacht (three double and two twin), three separate toilets with hot water shower, one big livening room with television/DVD and a kitchen area. ""Pacific Blitz"" is operated by a professional skipper and deckhand who is looking after guests by serving delicious gourmet meals and refreshments. The boat accommodates a maximum number of 10 guests plus two crew members.

They sail around the wonderful Whitsunday Islands and they offer Luxury Day Sailing Adventures and also Three Day and Two Night Sailing Adventures.

During their Sailing Adventures you can experience fun and sensation where at the same time you can practise your snorkelling and kayaking abilities, admire a hidden underwater world, discover your own bushwalking paths, visit many exciting and world known places like Whitehaven Beach, Blue Pearl Bay, Butterfly Bay or famous resorts.

Access Car

By car: They are based 600 kilometres South of Cairns and 1200 kilometres North of Brisbane. There is plentiful parking in Shute Harbour where you can leave your car. Parking is payable ($12 for 24 hours).

Departure Point

They start all trips at 9.30 am in Shute Harbour Marina please make sure you are at the meeting point at this time. You will be greeted there by their staff and you will be taken to the boat.

They are offering pick up and drop off from Whitsunday areas. It is 10 minutes drive from Airlie Beach to Shute Harbour.

How To Get There

Getting to Airlie Beach.
By plane: There are three airports in the area. The closest is on Hamilton Island. From there you can get directly to Airlie Beach or Shute Harbour by ferry.
The next closest airport is in Proserpine (also called Whitsunday Airport). It is 30 kilometres from Airlie Beach and you can get from there by bus; see Whitsunday transit connections link below or taxi, available at the airport.
The farthest one is in Mackay, 150 kilometres away from Airlie Beach. From there you can take a Greyhound bus to Airlie Beach.
By bus: There is just regular Greyhound line to Airlie Bach. From there you can get a connection to Shute harbour (15 minutes drive)

5 Day and 4 Night Sail Training Cruise

It is a journey among Whitsunday Islands on tropical coast of Queensland, Australia. You can choose to take part in our RYA specialised sail training (competent crew, day or coastal skipper) or you can just enjoy generic sail training.

Accommodation in one of three double cabins- a comfortable cabin with double bed for one person or a couple. Theirr 4 night 5 day package departs on a Monday and includes all meals on board, water and soft drinks, clean, fresh linens, blankets, bath towels, fins. Arrival on Friday at 3.30 pm to Shute Harbour Marina.

Weekend Sail Training

This course runs for two days and introduces the complete beginner to sailing and seamanship. By the end of the weekend you will have experienced steering a yacht, sail handling, rope-work and be aware of safety on board. Ability after the course is a basic knowledge of yachting and the ability to be confident on board.

Holders of the Start Yachting certificate can go on to complete the Competent Crew course in a reduced time of three days or two weekends.

You will also have had a fantastic day and have visited some of the most beautiful anchorages in the World! Depending on the weather condition, visit Whitsunday Island, start from Shute Harbour.

All year around, starts Saturday at 8 am and finish Sunday at 5 pm.

No previous experience required.

Available also as weekend yacht and skipper hire. You may take whole yacht with your friends or family. The perfect for those who want to get to know Whitsunday Islands better or planning bareboat charter later on.
