Description

Surf Boat crews from four states (Queensland/New South Wales/Victoria/South Australia) hit the waves at Surfers Paradise Beach for the start of the Official Season Launch of the Navy Australian Surf Rowers League summer of competition. The alliance between Navy and the ASRL is a perfect fit because both comprised fit, healthy Australians in boats who provide a community service for Australia. The weekend culminates in an interstate competition between all visiting states.

Surf Rowers in Paradise has been created as a social / fun weekend, still offers a competitive element but has an aspect that offers camaraderie for all crews to meet at a summer season venue with off beach functions and entertainment that engages friendship amongst the surf rowing fraternity.
