Free Entry - Entry Information
Walk through the subtropical rainforest in Springbrook National Park to see the spectacular natural rock arch formation over Cave Creek.
Along the walk see buttress roots, strangler fig trees, and epiphytic ferns. Look for noisy pittas, rainforest dragons and rainbow lorikeets. The red berries that cover the ground in spring are from lillypilly trees.
... moreThe cave is big enough for many people to enter under the near perfect arch. At night it comes alive with thousands of glow-worms.
... lessSeveral steps make the first part of the circuit unsuitable for wheel chairs or strollers. If you walk anti-clockwise, you can push a stroller and possibly a wheelchair to the lookout.
To avoid crowds, this walk is best done early in the morning or late afternoon. Glowworms can be seen at night.
