Take a break from the city and breathe fresh mountain air on our mountain rainforest drive through the 35,000 hectare D'Aguilar National Park. Get a close up look at some of their local fauna at a wildlife centre, marvel at the views from the lookouts, take a bushwalk under huge rainforest trees, and relax with morning / afternoon tea overlooking the rainforest.

The first stop is Walkabout Creek Wildlife Centre where you will see local birds, freshwater fish, turtles, reptiles, kangaroos, wallabies, brush turkeys and perhaps the shy platypus, tiger quoll and wombat. The tour continues up the range and stops at lookouts with panoramic views east to Moreton Bay and west to the Great Dividing Range. Passing through quaint mountain villages, they arrive at the lovely Maiala rainforest at Mount Glorious, 680 metres above sea level. Here in the cool mountain air, take a bushwalk under huge trees, strangler figs, palms and ferns while listening to the delightful birdsong of the Australian rainforest. After the walk, it's time to sit back and relax in the rainforest surroundings while your guide prepares a morning / afternoon tea before heading back to the city via the pretty Samford Valley.

How about a few relaxing hours along the shores of Moreton Bay? See some of Brisbane's most desirable suburbs. Drive through breezy bayside villages while admiring the views across Moreton Bay to the islands. Relax with morning / afternoon tea overlooking the beach and the bay. View or buy Australian seafood at the seafood markets. The fresh prawns have been cooked and are ready to eat.

Their drive passes through the tree-lined hills of Ascot and Hamilton where we will see beautiful heritage Queenslander and colonial homes and take in a lovely view of the river and the city and surrounding suburbs. They continue on to the bayside suburbs of Sandgate and Shorncliffe with views across the bay to Moreton Island and the port of Brisbane. Cross over to Redcliffe Peninsula to see the site of the first white settlement in Queensland, walk along Redcliffe's bayside beaches, and enjoy a tea or coffee with some tasty cookies in one of Redcliffe's lovely beachside picnic areas.

They then spend some time at the seafood markets where you can view or buy fresh cooked prawns, crabs, Moreton Bay bugs, oysters or fish packed in ice for your return to the city.

This tour takes you to Tamborine Mountain, a one hour drive from Brisbane, where you can choose to spend your time walking through rainforest, visiting local wineries, lookouts, the Skywalk, Distillery, the Glow Worm Caves, the Brewery, or the famous Gallery Walk.

Breathe in the fresh mountain air as we drive up the mountain and call in at the Cheese factory where you can sample delicious, award winning, locally made cheeses. You may also want to try a locally made beer available at the on-site brewery.

Next, you can choose to visit wineries, Glow Worm caves, a Distillery, the Gallery Walk (with over 70 art, craft and gift shops), or simply take a bushwalk in the rainforest.

The half day tour normally includes a short rainforest bushwalk, the Gallery Walk, lookouts, and the small boutique brewery and cheese factory.

For the full day tour, depending on how much time is left, you can add one or more of the other attractions mentioned above. The Skywalk, where you get a bird's eye view of the rainforest canopy from a secure elevated bridge, is a popular choice.
