Description
Mount Slocombe Lookout is located close to the small town of Yaraka. The panoramic view takes in the nearby Yang Yang ranges and surrounding plains and grazing lands. Barbecue facilities have been installed and a picnic table. This is an ideal place to enjoy the stunning outback sunset or the glorious colours of a sunrise. There are endless photographic opportunities. It is a steep drive to the top of the lookout and not suitable for caravans.

How To Get There
Mount Slocombe is situated near Yaraka approximately 100 kilometres south of Isisford. The road to Yaraka is partly sealed and road conditions are available from the Isisford Council Office or the Outer Barcoo Interpretive Centre. The road up to Mount Slocombe is sealed. It is very steep and not suitable for caravans.
