Description
The Lockyer 300 is Round 5 of the Australian Off Road Championship (AORC) to be run at Mulgowie, near Laidley, in the Lockyer Valley. The event is being run by the Brisbane Sporting Car Club.
The AORC commenced in 1981 and showcases the best off road competitors, cars and events from around the country. AORC events are 'long course' events which are run over distances from 300 to 400 kilometres. The courses are often narrow, twisting, tree lined tracks, undulating farmland tracks, mountain tracks and river crossings, sometimes incorporating man made jumps and other obstacles.
