The Gold Coast Airport Marathon is staged in one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world in Queensland, Australia. Regarded as one of Australia's premier sporting events, the Gold Coast Airport Marathon attracts more than 30,000 participants of all ages and abilities from Queensland, interstate and overseas. All competitors will enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast conditions in the full 42.195 kilometre Marathon, Wheelchair Marathon, Half Marathon, Wheelchair 15 kilometre, 10 kilometre Run, 5.7 kilometre Challenge and Junior Dash 4 kilometre and 2 kilometre races. The event also includes a bumper ASICS Sport and Leisure Expo for running and fitness enthusiasts.

How To Get There
Event participants need to register first at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach prior to the race start on the Saturday. The race start and finish area is located at the Broadwater Parklands in Southport. It is approximately one hour drive south from Brisbane Airport and 30 minutes drive north from Gold Coast Airport. The start and finish can be accessed by car, event shuttle bus, taxi and water taxi.
