Welcome to Giddee Up Horse Trail Rides located at Mungar, Queensland, situated on a lush 145 acres of tropical gardens, black boys (native copious) and natural rainforest.
They invite you to share their horse riding trails with them on half day and full day trail rides, leaving the Lazy K ranch at 9.00 a.m. seven days a week. All riders from five years to 80 years of age are welcome.

Giddee Up offers a range of accommodation to go with your horse trail rides. The Wallaby Lodge is self-contained, sleeps seven, and all you need is your food and clothing. Two queen size rooms are available in-house, with all meals if required. There are camping facilities in their gardens. All guests have access to their pool, barbecue area and pool table.
Their horses are registered quarter horses that have been bred and are so quiet that even if you have never touched a horse before, they will have a horse for you.

General Comments
Their Horses are Australian Quarter Horses which they have bred over the years for pleasure and trail riding. Their Quarter Horses are so quiet that even if you have never touched a horse before, they have a horse for you. If on the other hand you have had some riding experience, their Quarter Horses are horsemanship trained and you will enjoy a totally awesome riding experience.
How To Get There
Turn into Saint Mary's Road off Mungar Road. At the 'Y' intersection, turn right. Cross over the wooden bridge and the two cattle grids. At the second cattle grid turn right into One Chain Road. The third property gate on the right, 108, the Lazy K Ranch is about one kilometre down the track.
3 and a Half Hour Trail Ride
Enjoy a relaxing three and a half hour horse trail ride through rain forest with plenty of creek crossings and wildlife galore, including a morning tea break of Billy Tea and Damper (Australian Bush Bread). After your ride, come back to the homestead for a swim in the pool amongst the tropical gardens and a two course bush tucker lunch, barbecue with fresh salad and Aussie Dessert.
