Description

The Burdekin is famous for its barramundi fishing, and this annual competition is held soon after the start of the barramundi open season. Hosted by the Fuller Masonic Lodge, the competition is in its eleventh year and offers great prizes for the heaviest barra caught in the senior and junior divisions. There are also prizes for the top catches in a range of other estuary and reef species.
