A colony of spectacled flying-foxes roosts on Russell Island, while manta rays and sea turtles have been spotted in nearby waters, part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.

How To Get There

Get to the park by private boat from Mulgrave or Russell river boat ramps or join a commercial tour departing from Deeral Landing, about 45 kilometres south of Cairns. The 10 kilometre crossing to the islands is tide and weather dependent.
