Flipside Circus is Queensland's premier youth circus offering circus workshops and performances to young people and their families.
Flipside Circus values children and young people as cultural creators. The organisation aims to instil in young people Flipside's core values of safe risk taking, hard work, showing off, laughter, building trust and valuing dreams and aspirations through providing access to all young people regardless of background and location.
... moreFlipside Circus provides a circus program that is extensive and includes an exciting range of circus activities. This includes their very popular School Holiday Workshop program that happens every school holidays. Different workshops are available to match your availability and budget.
Why not consider a day out at the circus during your next holiday in Brisbane? Their contemporary circus performances have earned wide applause at major Queensland festivals and theatres. These include Woodford Folk Festival, Out of the Box Festival, Anywhere Theatre Festival and The Brisbane Powerhouse. We also regularly perform at smaller community events. All of their performances are family friendly and are advertised on their web site.

Parents/guardians are more than welcome to stay and watch their child's circus workshops in their lounge area. Any siblings, etc who are not taking part in the workshop must be supervised by their parent/guardian at all times.

Flipside Circus offers free on site parking and there is street parking also available.

Flipside Circus is a 10 minute walk up Mina Parade from the Newmarket train station (Ferny Grove Line). Handy tip: Walk towards the 55 metre brick chimney stack (it's in their carpark)!
