Enjoy a morning Daintree River Cruise looking for the wildlife of the area, followed by Devonshire tea with your choice of coffee's, tea or cold drinks. Then it is a four wheel drive adventure in their ex-army soft top Land Rover along bush tracks and through creeks out to the beautiful Cassowary Falls. View the stunning waterfall, feed the fish and turtles, and then best of all, jump in for a swim! After this they return home along the Captain Cook Highway arriving back just before lunch.

Your day starts with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway learning about the history of the area. Then it is a cruise along the lower reaches of the mighty Daintree River spotting the varied wildlife of this estuarine environment, including of course the Saltwater Crocodile! Afternoon tea, is at the new Mossman Gorge Visitors Centre consisting of Damper, mungali cream and a bush jam. While at the Gore listen to your guide who will take you on an interpretive walk to truly understand the rainforest before jumping in for a swim in the Gorge itself. Many calendars and posters feature this swimming area. You will see why when you are immersed in the natural beauty of Mossman Gorge. It is literally like swimming in a postcard! It is a short 20 minute drive back to Port Douglas from here. A great way to spend an afternoon.

The Daintree tour that gives you more. Travel in a group of no more than eight guests in Mercedes Vito wagons. Start the day with an early morning walk in Mossman Gorge. It is a beautiful place. After the Gorge head up to the Daintree River for morning tea and a river cruise seeking out wildlife. Cape Tribulation next for a walk and explanation of the history of this area. Lunch in their exclusive hideaway in the rainforest, with time to enjoy another wander through the forest or take a dip in the creek. Make a stop at the tasty Daintree Ice-cream Company before crossing the Daintree River on the vehicle ferry. Then it is off to Cassowary Falls. The only tour company that can get you there, 4WD along the bush tracks and through the creeks out to the falls in our Ex Army Landrover. A special place well worth a visit. Even better is a swim here as well. After you have enjoyed this stunning area it is off down the Captain Cook Highway heading for home.
