Cancellation Information:
If a booking is cancelled more than 60 days prior to the date of departure AUD150.00 is charged. If a booking is cancelled within 60 day of departure, there will be no refund on monies paid.

Departure Details:
Our base is in Airlie Beach at the superb Abel Point Marina. Airlie Beach is the mainland gateway to the Whitsundays. It is a developed coastal resort town with great dining, shopping and accommodation facilities. From the moment you arrive at our base at Abel Point Marina you will enjoy easy loading and all the modern amenities at your fingertips. We also offer pick up and delivery to Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Daydream Island & Long Island.

Restrictions:
Clients must be 18 years of age to take control of the vessel. No formal boat licence is required. All vessels must be at anchor by 4.00 p.m. each day.

Further Details:
Comprehensive briefings Your CCY charter experience begins with a comprehensive vessel systems, vessel handling and local area navigation briefing. This will take around four hours depending on levels of experience. Our friendly, professional, qualified briefers ensure that even those with limited boating knowledge set sail feeling confident and competent.
Guided cruising The option exists for you to take a sail guide along for a half day, a full day or even for the duration of the cruise. A sail guide can show you the ropes ... literally. Plus they have years of experience in the Whitsundays and can guide you to some of the less frequented beaches, bays and snorkel spots.
Keeping you updated Whilst on a CCY charter we will communicate with you twice a day, every day via radio. We'll give you the latest weather updates and discuss your route and overnight anchorage plans, providing local knowledge and suggestions, taking some of the guess work out and making every day easy.
Fuel and water Vessels are supplied with full water and fuel tanks. Water will last approximately 7 days if used sparingly. Fuel and water can be obtained from Hamilton Island or back at Cumberland Base. On completion of your charter your fuel tanks are refilled so you only pay for what you use.
Food and Beverages CCY can do your shopping for you prior to departure. Our provisioning service is provided on a hassle-free package basis or you can use the self-select option online. Alternatively you can do your own shopping at Coles or Woolworths, both of which are a short taxi ride from the CCY Base. Hamilton Island offers basic re provisioning and other resorts offer some basic supplies.
Hire period starts midday and finishes 10.00 a.m. on the last day of rental. Minimum hire period is five days. Allow three to four hours for briefing on the vessel upon arrival. This time is part of the hire period. All vessels come with dinghy and outboard, barbecue, galley equipment and snorkelling gear. There is a VHF radio on board all vessels for keeping in touch with charter base. Vessels must be returned clean. Third party insurance is included in the hire fee. Vessel insurance is covered. An additional non-refundable AUD30.00 per day damage waiver is paid prior to departure.

How To Get There:
You can fly to Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport and the take a short 40 minute transfer straight to the CCY Base. Or land at Hamilton Island where you can either transfer by water taxi or light aircraft. Alternatively we can deliver your charter vessel to you. Arriving by rail or road, you can take the train to Proserpine or drive right to our door. Car parking is available at the marina.

Tariff Information:
Cumberland offers a modern fleet with something to suit everyone. We have sailing yachts, catamarans and flybridge motor cruisers from 34 to 48 feet.
Prices start from $60* per person per night *Based on a 7 night charter with 6 guests aboard a 34' sailing yacht, booked within 14 days of departure at CCY Standby Rates. An AUD500.00 deposit is required 14 days after to making a booking.
The balance of the payment must be made 60 days prior to departure. The prices do not include fuel and provisions. Lower rates apply to longer hire periods. Contact the operator for details.

Seawind 1000's are tremendous charter boats. They feature four double private cabins and a fibreglass covered bridgedeck with plenty of room for the crew as well as the thrill of performance sailing. The 1000 has an electric anchor winch as well. AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Cabin Fans, Bimini,Deck Esky, Deck Shower, 1 toilet. Recommended 8 Passengers. Launched May 2004.

The Perry 43 Plus' 4 cabins, Stardust has 4 double cabins and can sleep a maximum of 10 people.

The Perry 43 Plus' is an immaculately finished and spacious vessels suitable for large groups or families. It has 240 volt power along with air conditioning and a microwave. Blueberry Hill launched in July 2000. Is a spacious flybridge catamaran featuring a state of the art fishfinder for the serious fisherman. A spiral staircase leads to the flybridge, which has space for all to take in the sights. The genset provides power aplenty for the air conditioning and those extra toys that may need charging. Finnigan commenced chartering in June 2006, developed specifically for the charter market.

The luxurious appointments are great for couples or families with three private cabins and a separate bathroom. The bright and airy saloon also incorporates a raised wrap around lounge and dinette.
