Description

Charters Towers hosts the annual Gold Fever Healthy Lifestyle Festival which includes the Gold Fever Le Tour and the Gold Fever Fun Run. The festival is in it's fourth year and offers a wide variety of activities including live entertainment, fitness demonstrations, healthy living stalls, free kids entertainment, market stalls and local produce.

Saturday kicks off with cycling Time Trials at the Weir followed by the Criterium at Lissner Park. Lifestyle stalls and activities will fill the park from 12pm on Saturday. The 10 kilometres and five kilometre Fun Runs have over AUD7500 in prize money up for grabs. Charters Towers Regional Council has again combined efforts with the local ""Relay for Life"" team to produce a three kilometre charity run/walk.
