Children are more than welcome and snorkel equipment is available for children aged from three to four years and upwards. It is recommended that you bring goggles for children any younger, so that they are custom for the child's size.

General Comments

Included in the tour are transfers from accommodation in Port Douglas, morning/afternoon tea, lunch, all equipment, guided snorkelling tour and an interpretive reef talk.

Space and comfort has been created and utilised on every part of these magnificent vessels. Guests are in awe as they take time to relax on the top deck sunlounges that provide breathtaking 360 degree views of the Great Barrier Reef.

Another feature of the sleek catamaran is the nine metre wide back deck which provides plenty of room, comfort and ease as you enter the water to partake in marine activities. Large, spacious upper and lower foredecks have been designed with comfortable day bed seating to maximise outdoor relaxation.

Visiting three breathtaking sites daily from Port Douglas, Calypso will provide you with an experience of a lifetime. Learn about the marine life and eco-systems through their reef interpretive chat on board or take part in a guided snorkelling tour and surround yourself by the rainbow of brilliantly coloured fish and coral.

Calypso Reef Charters has set itself a class above the rest. With the stylishly modern and custom designed catamaran 'Calypso' a new benchmark has been created for Outer Great Barrier Reef cruises.

Family owned and run, Calypso is designed to hold 125 guests however only travel with approximately 70 to ensure maximum comfort. Calypso caters for first time snorkellers, introductory divers and dive enthusiasts.

All rates are inclusive of transfers from accommodation in Port Douglas, morning and afternoon tea, tropical buffet lunch, interpretive reef talk, snorkelling equipment, guided snorkelling tour, lycra suits, wetsuits and prescription masks.

Tank and weight only prices are available, please contact the operator for pricing.

An Environmental Management Charge of AUD5.50 is payable on board. With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to the ticket price. In such cases any levy will be collected on departure


Agincourt Reef Snorkelling and Diving

Diving

Introductory Dive - Experience Agincourt Reef like never before with an introductory dive. With visibility between 15 to 30 metres and water temperatures of 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, diving conditions year round couldn't be better. Calypso's vessels have been designed to provide the best scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef as well as offer three unique dive sites and the latest scuba gear.

Certified Diving - As a certified diver, Calypso offers you the freedom to explore, while still ensuring your comfort and safety with small group numbers overseen by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable dive master.

Snorkelling - With sheltered, calm conditions, snorkelling Agincourt Reef is not only one of the most unforgettable experiences, it's also one of the most relaxing even for the most inexperienced swimmer. Take your time as you explore these shallow reefs, teeming with marine life from turtles and clown fish to some of the bigger species such as sharks, Maori wrasse, dolphins and *whales. Specialised snorkel tours are included at each site for those eager to see and learn more.
