Based in Port Douglas, BTS Tours have been operating specialised rainforest tours to the Daintree Rainforest since 1985.
The Daintree Rainforest tour explores the different habitats that combine to create and sustain the tropical rainforest environment. Expert naturalist guides distinguish flora and wildlife of the Daintree's wet tropic lowlands and the mysteries of its evolution and survival over millions of years. The Daintree is a remnant from the break up of Gondwanaland. Gondwanaland was the southernmost of two super continents that included what is now the southern Hemisphere of our planet.

Children are welcome and catered for. Infants up to two years are free of charge. Child rates apply for children from three to 13 years. Child seats available on request.
Disabled:
Vehicles don't have wheelchair access, folding wheelchairs can be stored on the vehicle, driver to assist with loading and off loading.
Cancellation Policy
100 per cent refundable if cancelled prior to 48 hours of travel. 50 per cent cancellation fee if less than 48 hours notice. 100 per cent cancellation fee if no show.
Departure Point
Passengers picked up from holiday accommodation (motel, resort, hotel) not private address in Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas.
General Comments
No transfers of baggage on tours.
Hotel Pick-up
Door to door one way and return transfers including luggage to/from Resort or Hotel from Central Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas area.

Daintree Rainforest Full Day Tour
This is a full day tour that includes activities in all the various habitats that combine to form the Tropical rainforest environment. Enjoy a guided interpretive walk, canoeing on a tranquil forest stream, swim in a freshwater lagoon, walk on a remote forest fringed beach, view crocodiles and birds on a wildlife spotting river cruise. On the tour you will also stop at lookouts and cross the Daintree River on a cable ferry.

Mossman Gorge Guided Rainforest Walk
A three kilometre walk in the pristine forest of the Mossman Gorge which is located just 20 minutes drive from Port Douglas. The professional guide will explain the forest environment's evolution and wildlife presence.
