Forget horses - saddle up for the ride of your life at the Bedourie Camel Races!
The annual race meet sees professional camel riders from across Australia converge on Bedourie each July for the first of Queensland's three camel racing carnivals.
... moreRacegoers will be treated to a fun day of activities for all ages to enjoy including a Bedourie Camp Oven cook off and demonstrations, foot races, closest to the pin, putting and wood-chopping competitions as well as kids novelty events and music and entertainment into the night.

How To Get There:
If travelling from the north, take the first street (Kepler Street) on the right after passing the Roadhouse and follow this road for approximately three kilometres.
If travelling from the south or east, travel through town and take the last street (Kepler Street) on the left hand side just before passing the Roadhouse. Follow this road for approximately three kilometres.
Children are welcome.
