Experience the thrills and excitement of white water rafting through World Heritage Rainforest and magnificent gorges of the Barron and Tully Rivers in North Queensland. Their half day Barron River Rafting experience is great if you are limited for time or can be combined with other activities to maximise your day. The world famous Tully River provides the most exciting day anyone could ask for. Hone your rafting skills on foaming white water traversing through World Heritage listed rainforest, numerous waterfalls and basalt formations. Enjoy an Aussie barbecue lunch riverside and relive the fun and excitement of the day on DVD at Rafters Cafe over a cold beer with some newly found friends.

Children:
Minimum age to raft is 13 years on the Tully River and 12 years on the Barron River. Persons over the ages of 13 and under the age of 18 travelling alone or without an adult guardian must have prior consent from a parent in the form of a signed waiver of liability.

Cancellation Information:
100 per cent cancellation fee applies to all bookings cancelled within 24 hours of departure or no show, and all extended tours (two days or more) cancelled within 72 hours of departure.

Departure Details:
Rafters Cafe in Tully, 51 Butler Street - Tully River - Lake Placid - Barron River. Transfers are included for all tours.

Further Details:
You will need to bring lace-up sandshoes (these will get wet however rental shoes are available for a small fee), a swimming costume, a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes (very important!). These items can be left on the coach while rafting. Please do not wear any jewellery. They also advise that you leave your valuables in your hotel safe.

Hotel Pick-up:
Pick ups from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas are available. For Tully River, pick ups from Mission Beach and Tully are also available.

Prices are departing Cairns. Please check with operator for prices departing Port Douglas and Mission Beach.

There is a AUD25.00 per person levy that covers insurance and national park fees for the Barron River Tour. There is a AUD30.00 per person levy that covers insurance and national park fees for the Tully River Tour. This levy is not commissionable and is payable on board.
