Passions of Paradise travels to two of the most sought after locations on the Great Barrier Reef; Michaelmas Cay and Paradise Reef. Having recently won the Australian Tourism Award for Adventure Tourism and been inducted into the Queensland Tourism Hall of Fame (Adventure), you can be sure they are dedicated to providing a truly unique and personalised reef experience.

Sailing daily aboard a 25 metre catamaran, they provide an excellent, eco-friendly opportunity to view the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Specialising in introductory and certified diving, let their dedicated, energetic staff showcase the best the reef has to offer. Certified divers explore the best sites using our specially designed dive tender, while introductory divers and snorkelers discover the underwater realm in shallow, calm waters teeming with fish life and beautiful coral gardens.

Enjoy the splendour of Michaelmas Cay, where their special permits allow access to one of the most breathtaking ecosystems on the planet. Paradise Reef, part of Breaking Patches Reef, is exclusive to Passions of Paradise, so their guests encounter the underwater world in tranquillity. Every afternoon the bar is open, and guests relax as they hoist the sails and cruise the Coral Sea.

Passions of Paradise have children's masks and snorkels available as well as flotation aids. However, they do not take children by themselves and parents or guardians must be responsible for them at all times.

Disabled:
Passions of Paradise have taken many people with a disability before but do not offer special facilities. The crew take a great deal of care with people with a disability and make sure they get the most out of their day.

Cancellation Information:
24 hours notice of cancellation is required for a refund.

Departure Details:
Check in at the Reef Fleet Terminal 30 minutes prior to departure. Passengers must check in 15 minutes prior to departure.

Hotel pick ups are available from Cairns city and Northern Beaches. Charges apply.

Full Day Michaelmas Cay and Outer Barrier Reef Tour

The cruise departs daily to Paradise Reef and Michaelmas Cay. Emphasis is placed on the crews interaction with the passengers and their specialty is helping nervous snorkellers, first time divers and 'rusty' certified divers. Certified divers can choose from a number of excellent dive sites and the company has a specially designed diving tender which enables divers to pick the best sites on the day. Introductory divers can try a 10 minute, 'free' demonstration hand-held dive. In keeping with their tradition of providing a fun filled day, the crew offer snorkel tours, sail handling demonstrations, and reef briefs throughout the day.
