Echo Creek - ""Adventure and Cultural Camp"" encompasses local traditional cultural activities with nature based educational and adventure activities. Offering interactive sessions such as weaving, mija (hut) building and painting, leadership and team building activities, swimming, canoeing, river walks, as well as classroom and field-based cultural and nature education.

The knowledge and experience provided to each tour and each program or activity comes from the use of thousands of years of knowledge by the local Rainforest Aboriginal people of this land and highly qualified activity personnel.

Echo Creek will pick up from accommodation houses in Mission Beach and Tully or arrange to meet visitors at the Tully Visitor and Heritage Centre for pick up.

Down River Tour

Let Echo Creek experienced guide take you on an interpretive traditional guided tour of the local flora and fauna and see how the local Traditional owners lived along the rivers. You will also do Traditional face and body painting with the three natural ochres of the river and the interpretation of these designs.
