Description

Since 1992, Brad Holmes has been servicing the length of the Gold Coast with Personalised Surf Coaching for all ages and levels of experience. If you are a beginner, a 'born again' surfer, or have a disability, contact Brad for more fun and less frustration.

Brad is a Level Two qualified Surfing Coach, and a qualified Tai Chi and Qigong Instructor. He incorporates Tai Chi and Qigong into the warm-up to improve greater flexibility, co-ordination and balance. He is also a Level Three International Surfing Judge, is Stand Up Paddle surfing qualified, and he teaches to competition criteria.

Brad is the first surfing coach in Queensland qualified for people with a disability; he has handled nearly every type of intellectual and physical disabilities. He is also the first surf coach in Queensland and the first owner/operator in Australia to complete the Diploma of Sports Management (Surfing Studies) Course.

Brad Holmes teaches his students, ""How the sea works and how to work in with it"". All the sessions are tailored to your personal needs and wants, and people with disabilities are most welcome.

Children:
Children are welcome. Brad specialises the surfing lessons to your personal needs or wants - on an individual or group basis.

Disabled:
Facilities are available for people with a disability. There are special craft for paraplegics, and soft safety boards available. Brad tailors your 'session to your special needs and wants'.

Surfing students, please meet Brad at the white Camry wagon, parked opposite the Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Club, Broadbeach.

Further Details:
Brad provides personalised coaching, for beginners, intermediate, advanced and disabled, teaching surfing to competition criteria.

Lessons from one to five hours seven days a week 365 days a year.

Brad Holmes Surf Coaching is proud to announce a new service: Stand Up Paddle Surfing.
This is a renewed ancient Hawaiian art of placing a huge long board in the water, standing up on it, and paddling like a Trojan through the waves, turn around, and catch the wave, all standing up!
It is a lot of fun and adds a new dimension to surfing! Brad Holmes is the first surfing coach on the Gold Coast to offer Stand Up Paddle Surfing.

Hotel Pick-up:
Hotel pick up is available if time allows at a charge of AUD20.00.

How To Get There:
The operator suggests looking at Google Maps for The Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Club, at Broadbeach, or Brisway Maps: Maps 771, L19.
Please meet Brad at his white Toyota Camry wagon, parked somewhere opposite the surf club. You will recognise him wearing a white rash shirt, blue board shorts, blue hat - ' Brad Holmes Surf Coaching' - front and back.
Please bring along your wet gear, towel and change of clothes. If you are a beginner, a soft safety board is provided, and included in their coaching fee.
The operator also suggests zinc cream for face only. Please note no creams or lotions on arms or legs, as they make it slippery and dangerous.
