During the flight you will not feel the wind, simply because you have become the wind - this is the unique sensation of ballooning. You are being transported on an aerial nature walk by the world's oldest and most romantic form of flight. Your flight will last approximately one hour but your memories will last a lifetime. All flights are celebrated with a delicious champagne buffet breakfast at the award winning Radisson Resort Gold Coast. Safety is their first consideration and Balloon Aloft will not fly if weather conditions are not suitable. In this circumstance they will re-book an alternative flight time or refund all monies paid in full. 100 percent cancellation fee if less than 48 hours notice or no show.
Passengers staying in local hotels between Labrador and Broadbeach will be offered a free return transfer to the launch site. Local passengers are required to arrange their own transport and meet in the foyer at the Radisson Resort Gold Coast at the agreed time.
Please advise the booking office of your weight at the time of booking. Expectant mothers over 12 weeks are not permitted to fly. Balloon Aloft recommend casual attire, sturdy shoes (no thongs) and a hat. Passengers are encouraged to bring cameras and video equipment (carried entirely at owners risk) to capture this once in a life time experience.
Complimentary pick-up and return services from hotels vary between seasons and is approximately 30 minutes before sunrise. Passengers will be advised of the collection time prior to their flight.
