Yongala Day Trip
The S.S. Yongala is one of the worlds great dives. The SS Yongala Shipwreck is a national historic site that lies within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, near Townsville. It sank in 1911 with the loss of all on board. The wreck begins at 14 metres below the surface and sits on a sandy bottom at 28 metres. The artefacts, marine life and variety of corals that cover the wreck are spectacular. Trips depart daily from Townsville and Magnetic Island. Because Adrenalin Dive is committed to protecting the natural environment, the Yongala Day Trip is Eco Certified by Ecotourism Australia.
