The SS Yongala is one of the world's great dives. The SS Yongala Shipwreck is a national historic site that lies within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, near Townsville. It sank in 1911 with the loss of all on board. The wreck begins at 14 metres below the surface and sits on a sandy bottom at 28 metres. The artefacts, marine life and variety of corals that cover the wreck are spectacular. Trips depart daily from Townsville and Magnetic Island. Extra charges for hire of equipment, dive guide, and environmental management charge (EMC). For certified divers only. Advanced courses are available. Gear Hire (includes full wetsuit and computer) AUD35.00. Two guided tours AUD30.00. Wreck tour (experienced divers) AUD10.00.
The price includes tanks, weights, light breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea.

Cancellation by client, more than 48 hours prior to departure will result in forfeiture of deposit. Cancellation by client within 48 hours prior to departure will result in full forfeiture of trip payment. Full refund will apply for any trip cancelled or postponed by Adrenalin Dive.
Confirmation: Passengers must phone Adrenalin Dive at 4.00 p.m. on the afternoon prior to departure, to confirm place of accommodation, pick up time and weather conditions. Full payment must be made, or credit card authorisation given, 48 hours prior to departure. Insurance: it is recommended that you arrange Dive and Travel insurance in case of illness, accident or loss of luggage.
