Crikey! The Crocodile Hunter's Australia Zoo is on Queensland's beautiful Sunshine Coast. An easy one hour drive, just north of Brisbane, Australia Zoo offers a full day of wildlife action and adventure.

Children: Children must be accompanied by an adult and there are two huge playgrounds for different ages.
Disabled: There is access for guests with a disability. The property has disabled toilets, wide footpaths and glass enclosures (to see through, rather than over the top).
Entity Facilities
There are kiosk facilities for great snacks and the 'Dingo Diner' and 'Feeding Frenzy Food court' (seating for 1,500) for delicious gourmet meals are available. A kid's zoo is on premises as well as children's activities.
General Comments
Working hard to become the best zoological facility in the world, Australia Zoo has commenced a multi-million dollar development scheme. The Zoo's future expansions will encompass a Zoological garden of some 50 hectares in area, showcasing native flora and fauna as well as significant species from around the globe. The next stage of development will incorporate species from Asia, the Americas and Africa and is currently under construction.
Australia Zoo will be at the forefront of the industry both in terms of sheer scale and more importantly in terms of forward planning. Through Australia Zoo's future expansions, the aim is to set the benchmark in captive breeding programs, conservation and education.
General Comments
Australia Zoo is now over 70 acres in size and they are continually expanding and increasing their exhibits, making your day out full of fun and excitement. Come and see Tiger Temple where their five gorgeous tigers live and play, and hand feed their beautiful big girls, the Asian Elephants at the new Elephantasia. At Australia Zoo you even have the opportunity to have your very own intimate animal experience! You can feed the Giant tortoises or gorgeous wombats and walk with the Tassie devils or the cheeky dingoes. There is even the chance to book a walk with the amazing tigers or cheetah.
How to get There
Australia Zoo can be accessed by private transport, rail, bus or public transport. There is a courtesy bus to pick-up and return any patrons to and from the zoo to the rail stations (Beerwah and Landsborough). There is also another courtesy bus which picks up at Noosa, Maroochydore, Alexandra Headland, Mooloolaba and Caloundra. Self Drive Directions: The property is located on the 'Glasshouse Mountains Tourist Route', Beerwah - one hour north of Brisbane.
