Bribie Island boasts some of the best sunsets in Queensland. Take a sunset tour on a kayak to get a different perspective.
Depending on the wind the Sunset Tours will either take you out on the Pumicestone Passage or down around the sheltered canals. Either way the reflections of the sun setting and the lights on the water is simply beautiful.
It is also wonderful to watch the flying foxes make their nightly trip from the mainland to the top of the island.
You will be met by their tour guide at one of their waterfront starting locations where you will be provided with kayaks with fitted seats, instructions in regards to safety, usage and itinerary, life jackets, lights and bottled water. From there you will be lead on your kayaking adventure.

They will take you by their air conditioned four wheel drive through the centre of the island to Poverty Creek camp, site of an old cattle station. You will drive through sand tracks, see Emu's, Kangaroos, Dingoes, or many of the migratory birds that inhabit this area, or you will drive along the sand of Ocean Beach, past first lagoon up to second lagoon. As you drive along the beach you can spot for Dolphins, Kangaroos, Emus, Gannets, Spectacular White Bellied Sea-Eagles, Ospreys, Brahminy Kites, Shearwaters and numerous wader birds.
When they get to their destination they will stop for a light snack and refreshments and enjoy the scenery, or take a swim if you would like before returning back to civilisation.
You can Tag-a-long in your own registered four wheel drive if you would like to get some experience at sand driving in the company of others. You will be provided with a two way radio so you can be guided along the way.

This is a Tailored Tour. They will take you by their air conditioned four wheel drive through the centre of the island where you will drive through sand tracks, across scenic wallum heathland, and through forest, where a you may see Emu's, Kangaroos, Dingoes, or many of the migratory birds that inhabit this area, or you will drive along the many kilometres of sand of Ocean Beach, past lagoons meandering into the sea. As you drive along the beach you can spot for Dolphins, Kangaroos, Emus, Gannets, Spectacular White Bellied Sea-Eagles, Ospreys, Brahminy Kites, Shearwaters and numerous wader birds.
At the top you will have the opportunity go by foot along the Fort Bribie Walk. The walk is approximately five kilometres long and will provide you with an insight on what an army and naval battery was like, alternatively if the tide allows they can drive to several of the fort structures along the beach. Your tour includes a free keepsake book of Fort Bribie. Should you just want to drive up to the top, rest on the beach and take a swim instead, or do some bird watching just let them know when booking. Food and refreshments provided.

Their awesome Cruiser's and Tag-a-long bikes for hire are extremely comfortable, great fun to ride and look fantastic.
If it's the kid's you want to keep busy for the week, a family outing for a day or you would just like to cycle around for a couple of hours - their bikes are the coolest way to get around Bribie Island.
Bikes come supplied with a loan helmet and a combination lock. Front basket and child seats maybe made available upon request.
