It's just a short 25 minute cruise by passenger ferry or 35 minutes by car ferry. The passenger ferries run 14 daily return trips, providing convenient access. Buses, hire cars and tour companies ensure easy access to all areas on the island. And if you're traveling from interstate, Townsville airport offers daily flights and connection from most major cities. The airport terminal is located close to the ferry terminals making it easy to slip away.
