Free Entry - Entry Information
Bicton Hill is within Clump Mountain National Park. The walking track begins on Bicton Hill's exposed eastern side, where sturdy trees such as brush box and swamp mahogany grow. Climbing steadily, the track circles around to the hill's sheltered western side, which supports one of Australia's few remaining examples of lowland rainforest.
On the way up there are a few places along the way where you can see out past the rainforest to the coastal views below. Keep your eyes open for wildlife and rare palms and cycads.
A trip to the summit ends at a lookout offering spectacular mainland and island views. From the lookout, continue around the circuit until it meets back with the original track to continue down the way you ascended.
Take plenty of drinking water. Wear a hat and sunscreen.
