How To Get There
Vehicular barges depart from Lytton, 19 kilometres east of the Brisbane city centre, and Scarborough, four kilometres north of Redcliffe. Foot passengers can also depart from Pinkenba, 12 kilometres north-east of the Brisbane city centre. The island's sandy roads are suitable for four wheel drive vehicles only.
