Long Island is located in the beautiful Whitsundays off the Queensland coast and boasts amazing wildlife and scenery. Long Island is mostly national park and has over 13 kilometres of walking tracks which end at stunning lookouts and beautiful secluded beaches. Hard to beat is the fringing coral reef in the
bays, great for snorkelling or just relaxing in a hammock under the coconut palms.
There are several resorts and styles of accommodations on the island, ranging from luxurious to eco-friendly. There's also a camping ground located at Sandy Bay on the western side of the island.
