Other Information

How To Get There:
Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island can be accessed via passenger and vehicular ferry departing from Cleveland, 35 minutes from Brisbane.

Must See and Do:
North Gorge Walk is a 1.5 kilometre boardwalk offering stunning views of pristine sandy beaches and the Blow Hole - a unique rock formation that mimics the humpback whales which pass by each year. The walk is one of the best places on the island to spot the migrating whales between June and November, not to mention dolphins and turtles all year round. An absolute must do!

On foot or in a 4WD, experience the sensation of having a beach to yourself, with 32 kilometres of unspoilt sand to explore at Main Beach.

Ride a scooter: A fun way to explore Point Lookout. No experience necessary.

Spot whales: There's no need to leave land to see migrating humpback whales - just following the whale trail at Point Lookout.
