The daily lessons are held morning and afternoon at one of the Gold Coasts most uncrowded beaches just a few short kilometres north of Surfers Paradise at The Spit. This is one of the last undeveloped areas on the Gold Coast and it is a true locals spot.
Protected by the Seaway wall, the spit provides perfect conditions for beginners and intermediates. They hold two hour group lessons, with no more than six students per coach, daily at 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. with all equipment supplied. They also provide complimentary transport to and from the beach for your guests.

Because Get Wet Surf School has a low student to coach ratio, bookings are essential. Lessons can be booked with just 12 hours notice and their phones are attended from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. daily.
All equipment for use during the lesson is supplied and complimentary transfers are available. They will only operate if conditions are suitable for optimum safety and fun.
How To Get There
Get Wet Surf School hold their lessons at The Spit on Seaworld Drive less than 10 minutes north of Surfers Paradise. Follow all signs to Seaworld, when you have past the main entrance to Seaworld, continue on past Seaworld Resort along the same road for approx one minute, you will come to a large carpark with just one building, the Seaway Cafe. You should find our trailer parked in the Carpark, if not just wait by the café. Pre booking is essential for equipment and staff purposes.
Group Beginner and Intermediate Lessons - beginner and Intermediate lessons are held at 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. daily. They incorporate an ideal balance between the skills necessary to ride a board, surf safety, evaluating conditions and surf etiquette, but most of all, the students have tonnes of fun. Get Wet Surf School offer three and five lesson discount packages. These lessons are designed to get you up and standing as soon as possible and are suitable for six to 60 plus year olds and all fitness levels.
Beginner and Advanced Private Lessons - If you are after something more personalised or advanced, Get Wet Surf School also hold private lessons with one of the surfing Australia Level Two instructors at a time to suit. These lessons are designed to fast track your progress or fine tune your technique, all equipment is supplied.
