Band Sightings
Spotting band members is easy when you know what to look for. The band likes to stick together, travelling in pods. With so many pods around, you can come across a lot of Humpbacks in a single whale watch outing!
Harvey Bay is their favourite place to hang out. During whale season thousands of Humpbacks will breach, tail slap and fin wave a symphony of sound and water. Or just sidle up to the boat and reveal a curious eye.
