Rubyvale Gem Gallery is a small family business established in 1988, and now situated in their brand new shop on Main Street in Rubyvale. For over 30 years Peter Brown has been mining and cutting the local sapphires, and setting them in uniquely designed jewellery. He is recognised as a sapphire specialist and one of the best gem cutters on the Gemfields today.

Relax on the beautiful timber deck with a cappuccino from the new Rubyvale Cafe right next door serving delicious food all day, including Nette's famous scones. The friendly staff can help with all Sapphire Gemfields Information, and there are also brand new luxurious self-contained holiday units available for overnight or weekly rentals. How To Get There:
You will find Rubyvale Gem Gallery right in the heart of Rubyvale, which is 60 kilometres west of Emerald. From the turn-off on the Capricorn Highway, just follow the signs to Rubyvale. As you come down the hill and veer left into the town you will see the distinctive boulder and timber building on the immediate left which is Rubyvale Gem Gallery and Rubyvale Cafe.
Opening Hours:
9:00 - 17:00 everyday. Closed Christmas and Boxing Days, New Years Day and Good Friday.
Weather:
Perfect weather for fossicking is common in winter months with daytime temperatures reaching the mid 20 degrees. Luckily air-conditioning keeps everyone comfortable in the warmer summer months.
Children of all ages are welcome.
