Cunnamulla ""Outback"" Masters Games is a biannual event that has no participation criteria, except a minimum age. The games are an eclectic mix of competition, fun, friendships and Endeavour. There is nightly entertainment and a party atmosphere. 2009 will see the introduction of a selection of new sports to the competition, including woodchopping, kayaking, and shearing. The most popular event to date is the Cooper Creek to Cunnamulla bike ride, a 470 kilometre recreational trip that takes you across some of Australia's most distinctive and beautiful outback scenery whilst meeting some of their unique characters who epitomise the bush. So bring the family along and get involved in the Cunnamulla Outback Masters Games.

Most Events are held at individual clubs within Cunnamulla. Cycling events are held from Cooper Creek 470 kilometres west of Cunnamulla into Cunnamulla; and time trials are held on the Bulloo Development Road.
Overall masters fee is AUD50.00, then each individual sporting event adds their own fee on as well. This can differ from AUD5.00 to AUD60.00, depending on the sport. The Cooper Creek Bike ride is over AUD400.00, which includes food and camping fees.
