The Albert Park Motor Inn is one of the finest quality establishments in western Queensland with 56 spacious four star rooms, the Oasis Restaurant and Bar, resort style pool complex and a modern Conference and Function Centre. The Albert Park is located close to the main attractions of Longreach, and is near the airport on the main western highway from the east.
The Albert Park Motor Inn has extensive landscaped grounds with abundant local fauna and flora. The property is proud to be home to native green frogs, geckos, goannas, emus, birds and lizards. They are all very friendly!
As the headquarters of the western region, visitors can move out from their Longreach base to enjoy the attractions of Barcaldine, Winton, Ilfracombe as well as the Herbert Ranges and a proliferation of native wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, brolgas, bustards, goats, emus, goannas and a wide range of birdlife.

Thurechts Saddlery and Solleys Department Store are a must for any visitor wanting a taste of authentic rural life. A sunset dinner cruise on the Thompson River is a must.
