Hear the tales of the gold rush days that swept Gympie off her feet, and from Queensland's oldest provincial city Maryborough, travel to Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach and step off the mainland into World Heritage Wilderness with a visit to Fraser Island.

Daytours and overnight accommodated tours are available to Fraser Island from Hervey Bay and Rainbow Beach. If you wish to self-drive on Fraser Island a 4WD vehicle is required.
