Alpha & Jericho

Travel over the Drummond Range to Alpha, established in 1884 and best known as the 'town of murals'. Murals are featured on many buildings around town and are portrayals of pioneering history and contemporary rural life. You may also unearth your own piece of fossilised petrified wood.

In Jericho a sculpture named the 'Crystal Trumpeters' was erected to retell the biblical story of the original Jericho. Home to Australia's smallest drive-in theatre, try to score one of the 36 car spaces or sit in the 'pash pit' up the back to watch Hollywood's latest movie. It is open once a month.
