Dolphin Feeding Programs
Dolphin feeding in the wild is a rare and privileged activity and one that is strictly monitored and supervised. Dolphin feeding occurs in a protected environment regularly at Tin Can Bay, and on Moreton Island. Wild dolphins come in regularly for a fresh fish meal to the delight of visitors. Both areas operate under carefully controlled conditions and allow no interference with the dolphins in the shallow water.

Dugong Watching
Dugongs live in the northern waters of Australia and can be found right along the Queensland coast. Moreton Bay has a particularly good supply of the sea grass needed in the dugong diet. They are a protected species and one of the few mammals of the ocean. Legend has it that dugongs started the original mermaid myths, with sailors mistaking them for humans when seen from a distance.
