Journey by kayak across the tranquil blue waters encountering wildlife: dolphins, stingrays, reptiles, wallabies, native birds and colourful sub-tropical fish. Participate with your guide in the journey from past to present and leave with a deeper understanding of the Aboriginal's role as caretakers of the land.
The hands-on approach enables traditional practices passed on for thousands of years to both enlighten you and encourage your personal involvement.
Half and full day tours operate 364 days of the year from the Southport Spit and Anglers Esplanade at Runaway Bay on the Gold Coast.

Balunjali Kayak Tours are suitable for all fitness levels and you do not need any previous kayaking experience. The kayaks are "sit on top", tri-hull with a low centre of gravity which makes them extremely stable. All you need bring are your swimmers, wettable footwear, sunglasses, hat, drink bottle, towel and sunscreen. Balunjali Kayak Tours supply your kayak, Personal Flotation Device, snorkeling equipment and dry bags to protect your personal belongings. Balunjali Tour Guides are qualified Sea-Kayak Instructors who hold the Balunjali Waterman Platinum Certificate, senior and remote first aid, "bush first aid" and remote bush survival skills.
Complimentary transfers are available (conditions apply, please contact operator for details). Half Day Tours depart from the Broadwater Spit at Southport: Follow the Gold Coast Highway north, turn into Waterways Drive and then into Seaworld Drive. Follow Seaworld Drive (past Seaworld) and turn left into Muriel Henchman Drive to the car parking area and boat ramp. Full Day Tours depart from Anglers Esplanade Runaway Bay: Follow the Gold Coast Highway north. It turns into Marine Parade. Follow along and turn right at the roundabout into Bayview Street. Turn right into Jennifer Avenue at the T intersection turn left into Anglers Esplanande.
