Miscellaneous:
If the Charterer gives written notice to the owner (which is received by the owner 70 days prior to the said date of commencement) that the Charterer wishes to cancel, the company will only retain the booking deposit. If less notice is given, or notice of cancellation is given after the full charter fee has been requested by the company, then a sliding scale is operated in terms of the amount of refund provided to the charterer.
Bookings of a minimum of five nights are required. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Sunsail are a broker for CGU Insurance. Clients choose own policy to suit needs. Extra charges apply for damage waiver, fuel, Marine Park fees, yacht relocation fee (Airlie Beach or Hayman Island) and crew (skipper, sail guide, hostess or cook - all crew meals are at clients' expense).
What to Bring: Beach towel, your favourite compact discs, sun hat, sunglasses, swimwear, high factor protection sunscreen, camera, personal toiletries, any medication you require, practical clothing and footwear.
Fly directly into the Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island where their friendly staff will collect you for the five minute transfer to their base. Alternatively, arrive on the island by ferry from Shute Harbour and they will collect you from the marina ferry terminal.
Extra charges apply for damage waiver, fuel, Marine Park fees, yacht relocation fee (Airlie Beach or Hayman Island) and crew (skipper, sail guide, hostess or cook - all crew meals are at clients' expense). Inclusions for Skipper Yourself (Bareboat): Two - three hour briefing prior to departure, free berth on Hamilton Island at any time during charter, rigid inflatable dinghy with outboard engine, snorkelling gear, gas deck barbecue. All vessels are fully equipped with all linen including bath towels, galley inventory, navigation and safety equipment.
Inclusions for Sailing School: Six nights accommodation on the vessel, all meals for the duration of the course (beverages are not included), all tuition by a fully qualified RYA / YA instructor, all linen and bath towels, environmental management charge, rigid inflatable dinghy with outboard motor. Inclusions for Luxury Crewed Cruise: Private double cabin (based on twin share), professional skipper and host, all gourmet meals and snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, use of watersports toys - kayak and snorkel gear, rigid inflatable dinghy with outboard motor, all linen and towels.
