FURTHER INFORMATION
Children: Children are welcome. Vessels have maximum passengers permitted on each. Passengers are any person 12 months of age and over.
Disabled: Certain vessels are easier accessible for passengers with a disability, check with the reservation team.
Miscellaneous:
Cancellation outside 60 days AUD100.00 cancellation fee. Inside 60 days no refunds unless substitute booking is obtained.
Departs from Shute Harbour - WRAY private jetty. However, if requested the boat can be delivered to Hamilton Island Marina for your briefing or may be returned to Hamilton Island at the completion of your holiday. This must be pre-arranged.
No boating licence is required and only minimal boating experience is required. There is a minimum booking period of five nights. Charter commences at midday with area and boat briefing, a 8.00 a.m. briefing may also be available on request.
Person nominated to skipper the vessel must be 18 years old or over.
One Way Rentals - Shute Harbour pick-up, Hamilton Island drop-off or vice versa. Fee applies.
Rental Period - Minimum five nights rental is required. Departure and return and day of the week - Seven-day operation. No departures or returns on Christmas or New Years Day.
Reservation Conditions - Deposit of AUD750.00 must be received within 14 days to secure the booking. Balance is payable 60 days prior to departure.
Where vessels are dropped off from location other than headquarters a credit card preauthorisation must be signed for fuel usage. Fuel is charged on a usage basis and must be paid for at the completion of the charter.
Fully equipped vessels include all linen, safety and first aid gear. Galley equipment, navigational gear. Three-hour area and boat briefing.
The Damage Levy Fee provides the charterer with a No Blame Policy that protects the charterer against any cost incurred to rectify damage to the vessel and its fittings, or loss of inventory from the vessel, providing at all times the charter vessel is operated in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the charter.
