The Paddle Bay track on South Molle Island is a great walk if you are after an easy afternoon stroll. The lush rainforest at the start of the track has a eucalypt overstorey indicating that this was once an area of open forest. The track winds down to a beach of coral fragments and continues along the beach away from the resort.
... moreA picnic area overlooks Daydream, Mid and North Molle islands. At low tide you can walk to Mid Molle Island - access is restricted to the two-hour period before and after low tide. Check tides before setting out.
National Park camping is available at Paddle Bay for a maximum of 12 people. The site is well shaded and has picnic tables and composting toilets.
... lessThe track leads partly through open grasslands and along the beach, it is therefore a good idea to wear a hat and sunscreen.
Best to walk between April and September when humidity is lower.
